Several neighborhoods in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital, were flooded on Sunday as a result of heavy rains. Flash floods washed away many cars and caused traffic to stop in some streets, and many vehicles were stranded as a result of torrents that the drainage networks in several neighborhoods were unable to contain.
No casualties have been reported.
