A bush fire, which broke out in the bush on the Hawaiian Island of the USA, has burned 9,800 hectares of land so far. The fire continues in the western parts of the US Army’s Pohakuloa Training Area, located between Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea volcanoes. A total of 33 firefighters, 7 helicopters and construction equipment continue to respond to the flames.

The 2025 Caner Gönyeli Search and Rescue Exercise ended with a sea drill off Gazimağusa, Northern Cyprus. In a scenario involving a migrant-carrying yacht and a cargo ship collision, Turkish and TRNC teams launched immediate rescue operations. Survivors were saved by helicopter and boats; a fire set by migrants was extinguished. The final scenario simulated a tanker collision, ending with a salute by participating air and sea units.
