On August 25, 2017, over 700,000 Rohingya Muslims fled to Bangladesh after their villages and homes were attacked and destroyed. Around 40,000 Rohingya Muslims sought refuge in India, while 1 million struggle to survive in the camps established in and around Cox’s Bazaar in Bangladesh, the world’s largest refugee camp. The Rohingya Muslims, who are trying to live in deplorable conditions with few opportunities in the camps, are clinging to life thanks to the support of international aid organizations.
Some Rohingya refugees held demonstration for the five-year anniversary of the mass migration from Myanmar to Bangladesh, addressing the bad living conditions in the country.
