A state of emergency was declared in Pakistan due to the flood caused by the heavy monsoon rains that were effective in Pakistan. The Pakistani government announced that 937 people, including 343 children, have lost their lives so far. Officials stated that the floods affected 30 million people and most of them were left homeless.

306 people lost their lives in Sindh province of Pakistan as of June 14, while 234 people lost their lives in Balochistan, 185 people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and 165 people in Punjab, according to National Disaster Management Agency (NDMA).
