Firework accident killed 1 and injured 40 during a festival in Santiago Tianguistenco, Mexico. Eyewitnesses of the incident stated that the explosion broke out after the man demonstrating with fireworks in his hand approached the fireworks store piled nearby. Six of the injured are reported as heavily wounded and the 13 casualties were sent to a hospital. Health care teams were directed to the area.
Local administration of Santiago Tianguistenco gave their condolences to relatives of the casualties and said that the casualties will be supplied with all kinds of support.
