Fire broke out in Koriyama Train Station in the Fukushima state of Japan at 15:32 local time. Several fire crews and health care teams were sent to the location. Fortunately, the incident left no casualties. The fire, of which the authorities examine the cause, is extinguished in an hour. The station is out of services and the train expeditions are suspended.

The Turkish search and rescue team GEA has rescued two people from the rubble in Myanmar’s capital, Naypyidaw, on the fifth day of the earthquakes. The team pulled a survivor from the collapsed Aye Chan Thar Hotel less than 24 hours after saving a 26-year-old hotel employee.
The 7.7 and 6.4 magnitude earthquakes on March 28 have left at least 2,886 dead, 4,639 injured, and 373 missing, according to local authorities. Search and rescue efforts continue.
