A stampede broke out at a concert to commemorate Guatemala’s independence day in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Nine people were killed in the incident, including 2 children, and 20 others were injured, authorities said.
According to witnesses, the organizers closed the entrances and exits, but the people behind, thinking the door was open, pushed each other, causing a stampede.
