A Pozole eating contest in Yucatan, Mexico ended with a participant losing his life. The 48-years-old Hugo Ismael fainted amid eating his food. He was declared dead after taken to a hospital. Witnesses stated that Ismael suffocated during the contest, but he didn’t receive any first aid.
An investigation into the incident was started by Yucatan state.
