A hot air balloon carrying 30 people in Turkey’s famed Cappadocia made a hard landing, leaving 2 Spanish nationals dead and 3 others injured. The treatment of the injured continues in various hospitals in the city, and they don’t have a risk of death, according to the city governor.
The incident was caused by an unexpected wind increase, and that an extensive investigation regarding the incident has been launched, the governor added.
