A music festival was held at the Red Beach in Panjin, a city of northeast China’s Liaoning Province. Visitors enjoyed music while admiring the breathtaking scenery of the Red Beach. Based in the biggest wetland and reed marsh in the world, the 13,333-hectare beach is famous for its landscapes featuring the red plant of Suaeda salsa, one of the few species of plant that can live in highly alkaline soil.

Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara visited the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headquarters in Washington during his talks with US President Donald Trump. He was welcomed by IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva.
Georgieva said on social media, “It was a privilege to host President Al-Shara at the IMF. We discussed the economic transformation Syrians need and deserve, and I reiterated the IMF’s readiness to assist through technical support to key institutions.”
