Heavy rains in Taiwan in recent days have caused numerous landslides in the mountainous parts of the country. The landslide that occurred on the main road north of the city of Yilan in the east of the country was recorded by the people around. While no one was killed or injured in the disaster, the main road was buried under tons of soil and rock in seconds.

Under AFAD coordination and with support from ministries and NGOs, 14 planes and 16 ships carried vital supplies, including food, medicine, and shelter. Aid included 65,273 tons of flour, 25,180 tents, 53 ambulances, 8 field hospitals, and thousands of hygiene kits, water, and clothing. The ongoing blockade and bombardment have created a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with urgent needs for shelter, food, water, and medical support.
