US female pilot Wally Funk was invited as the guest of honor on the first manned spacecraft of Blue Origin, the aerospace company founded by Jeff Bezos, one of the richest businessmen in the world. The spacecraft New Shepard will go into space on July 20, and Funk who is 82-year-old, will become the oldest person to travel into space. The New Shepard spacecraft is expected to launch from a desert in West Texas on July 20, and the flight will take about 10 minutes.
Jeff Bezos and his brother Mark Bezos will be in the spacecraft along with Funk.
