A propane gas tank exploded yesterday evening in the port of Mohammedia, Morocco. Flames engulfed the sky and the warehouse’s surroundings following subsequent explosions. Five of the 7 tanks in the warehouse have been destroyed, according to local sources. The surrounding communities were evacuated, and the fire was brought under control after more than 2 hours of effort. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.

An investigation was launched to determine what caused the explosion.
