Many vehicles drowned and many structures were damaged by floodwaters occurred after heavy rains in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Many roads and some tunnels were closed due to precautionary purposes.
King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah advised passengers to call the airports to confirm the status of their flight before heading there, as some flights are expected to be canceled.
Authorities expect heavy rain to also affect the Rania, Taif, Adham and Maysaan regions.
