Two Kosovo Serbs, one of whom was carrying a tree for Christmas Eve celebration, were injured in an armed attack in the Serb-dominated town of Strpce in southern Kosovo, causing an increase in tension between the ethnic groups. Upon the notice that the attacker, who carried the attack from a moving vehicle, was an Albanian, Serbs set up a barricade on the Istorpçe – Ferizaj road to protest and blocked the road to traffic.

Kosovo police announced that 33-year-old A. K., who is suspected of being the perpetrator of the attack, was detained and interrogated in Ferizaj.
