Ukraine, Lithuania and Poland sign Joint Declaration

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky, Poland President Andrzej Duda, Lithuania President Gitanas Nausėda signed the Joint Declaration following the second Lublin Triangle Summit in Lyiv. The declaration emphasizes that Ukraine has the right to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity. Also, the declaration noted the intention of Lithuania and Poland to continue providing strong military, technical, defense, humanitarian, and other support to Ukraine.

Polish President Duda announced that Poland plans to send Leopard tanks to Ukraine, as a part of the Lublin coalition. He said, “We invite all countries in the world to help Ukraine.”

Lithuanian President Nausėda stated that Lithuania is doing its best to regain Ukraine’s territorial integrity and that they will continue to supply weapons and ammunition to the Kyiv administration.

At the joint press statement, Zelensky thanked Poland and Lithuania for their military support. “I am grateful to the people of Poland and Lithuania for being with us on the road to victory. I would like to thank the Lithuanians and Polish for receiving the Ukrainian refugees. Ukrainians will remember this aid for many years,” he said.
