In the Philippines, people overcrowded the Covid-19 vaccination centers before the 2-week quarantine to be implemented in the capital city of Manila. There were long queues of meters in front of the vaccination centers in the city.
Only 10,3 million people have been vaccinated in the Philippines so far. The government’s goal is to vaccinate nearly 70 million people this year, and only 9,3 percent of its population of 110 million received two doses of the vaccine.
