The National Bureau of Statistics in China reported on January 17th that country’s population decreased for the first time since 1961. While the numbers showed 1.41260 billion in 2021, the population was recorded as 1.41175 billion on the following year, 2022.
The National Health Commission had predicted that a decrease would occur in the population before 2025.
