Thousands of fans from all over Iraq gathered in the early hours of the morning to watch the Arab Gulf Cup final match, which was held in the Cudunahala Stadium in Basra. A stampede broke out as the ticketless fans wanted to enter the stadium. Authorities reported that 1 person was killed and at least 60 people were injured in the incident.

He recalled that Istanbul hosted the first round on May 16 and said Russia will continue to demand the repeal of laws in Ukraine that restrict the Russian language, culture, and the Russian-linked Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Lavrov reiterated that Ukraine’s neutral status remains a key demand in peace efforts.
