At least 8 people, mostly policemen, were wounded after a massive explosion occurred near a checkpoint in Quetta, Balochistan Province, Pakistan. Both first aid and police teams were dispatched to the scene.
Police reported that security guards were the intended target of the blast, and the injured were taken to Quetta Civil Hospital.
Student-led protesters in Serbia have blockaded state broadcasters RTS and RTV, demanding management overhaul or complete shutdown due to alleged biased reporting. Tents were set up outside buildings in Belgrade and Novi Sad, blocking entry and disrupting broadcasts. RTS called the blockade illegal, while RTV’s head labeled it “terrorism.”
The protests follow a deadly building collapse in Novi Sad that killed 15 people in November 2024. Despite government reshuffles and resignations, demonstrations persist. President Aleksandar Vucic dismissed the unrest as a failed “color revolution.”
