A shooting took place at the Cielo Vista shopping mall in El Paso, Texas, USA. Authorities reported that 1 person died in the attack, 3 people were injured, and 2 of them were in serious condition.
According to El Paso police chief Peter Pacillas, two people have been arrested in connection with the incident, and the mall has been shut down for safety concerns.
German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced he would soon accept President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s invitation to visit Türkiye. Speaking in Brussels after meeting NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, Merz emphasized Türkiye’s strategic value to NATO and stated his commitment to strengthening the partnership.
