While filling up at a gas station in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, an LPG tank in the car exploded. Parts of the LPG tank hit the 42-year-old officer who was trying to escape as a result of explosion. The officer died after falling to the ground.

A powerful explosion at the Shandong Youdao Chemical Company in Gaomi, Shandong Province, killed 5 people and injured 19. Security footage showed a tank exploding and a worker fleeing the scene as flames and thick smoke engulfed the area.
A total of 232 emergency personnel were deployed to the site. The blast was so intense that it shattered windows of a warehouse 3 kilometers away. The factory produces pesticides and medical chemicals. Chinese state media confirmed the casualties.
