The military point where Iran-backed foreign militias are located in the Hamidiye District of Deir ez-Zor province in northeast Syria was targeted with unmanned aerial vehicles. Local sources reported that eight lost their lives and ten injured in the attack that took place around 08:30. No one has claimed the attack yet.
Iranian-backed militias are known to be extensively deployed in the south and west of the Euphrates River, which passes through Deir ez-Zor.
