After the approval of several laws by Israel’s parliament to reform the justice system as well as limit the power of the Supreme Court, countrywide anti-government demonstrations have intensified. Hundreds of people demonstrated across the country, with demonstrators blocking the Ayalon Highway in Tel Aviv. During the demonstration, police used water cannons to disperse demonstrators.
