Former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has returned to Brazil after a three-month stay in the USA. Bolsonaro, who left Brazil before the end of his term on December 31, 2022, after losing the presidential elections in October 2022, was greeted by hundreds of supporters carrying Brazilian flags at the Brasilia airport.
Bolsonaro is facing an investigation for allegedly inciting his supporters to crack down on Congress and other state institutions. Before leaving the United States, Bolsonaro stated that he is turning over a new leaf and preparing for next year’s elections.
