The Italy Coast Guard rescued approximately 600 migrants in Maltese waters on Monday. The rescued migrants were brought to the port of the Sicilian Island, Catania. Sicily Governor Renato Schifani denounced the disembarkation, saying the arrival of migrants put Sicily and other parts of the country under pressure.
