Serbs living in the northern municipalities of Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Leposavic, and Zveçan in the city of Mitrovica in Kosovo started voting for the extraordinary local elections at 07:00 local time. Approximately 44,095 voters will participate in the voting process. The voting will end at 19:00.
The election was planned to be held on December 18, but was postponed to April 23 this year due to the increasing tension in the north.
