Many Ukrainians paid a visit to the ‘Alley of Heroes’ at the Lisove cemetery and placed wreaths on the graves of the deceased to mark Memorial Day yesterday. Both Ukrainians and residents of other eastern European nations celebrate the traditional day on the weekend after Orthodox Easter.
