The coronation of King Charles III began with a procession from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey. High-level executives, including British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former British Prime Ministers Liz Truss and Tony Blair, Scotland’s new Prime Minister Hamza Yusuf, French President Emmanuel Macron, and cabinet officials, also came to the palace for the ceremony. About 20,000 people are expected to attend the ceremony. More than 6,000 members of the armed forces took part in the historic ceremony.
