Former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, who was tried for political corruption as well as inciting the public to hatred and enmity, was arrested after a bribery case at the Islamabad High Court in the capital, Islamabad. It was reported that Khan was dragged out of court.

As Khan entered the courthouse, a brawl broke out between his supporters and the security forces. Riot police were present at the scene to maintain order.
