A commemoration ceremony was held across the country for the 100th birthday of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev, who died in 2003. Thousands of people, including ministers, deputies, diplomats, police and soldiers, visited Aliyev’s grave in Fahri Hiyaban in the capital Baku and laid roses.
