Türkiye’s Mardin, which is known its history, culture, ethnic structure and tolerance is attracting  a large number of tourists from the country and abroad. The city, which gets swarmed by people especially during weekends, fascinates the tourists with its unique landscapes.

Rare Inverted Tulips Bloom in Türkiye’s Sason Mountains

Inverted tulips, also known as “Crying Bride” flowers, are in bloom in the mountainous areas of Sason district in Batman, Türkiye. Found at altitudes over 2,800 meters, especially around Mount Mereto and Şilek Plateau, these rare endemic flowers attract nature enthusiasts despite the tough terrain.

Locals warn that picking the protected plant carries a fine of 244,000 TL. The flowers bloom for only 15 days each year, offering a short-lived but stunning natural display.
