An operation conducted in Turkey’s city of Kocaeli after a crew has requested a medical evacuation on the cargo ship Arklow Moor, sailing off Kefken Island. After the request, Turkish Coastal Safety teams immediately took action and reached the cargo ship. Despite the bad weather conditions, the teams were able to get the crew on their boats with a successful operation. The crew brought to the shore and handed over to the medical teams. Meanwhile, the Coastal Safety teams’ operation was recorded moment by moment.
