In the west coast of Mexico, a 13-year-old boy was killed due to collapse of a hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, caused by the Hurricane Nora. The hurricane caused waves up to 6 meters high on the coastline of the states of Nayarit and Sinaloa in the Gulf of California, and downgraded to tropical storm. In the state of Jalisco, 11 landslides occurred, 55 trees fell. In addition, one house completely collapsed, and more than 500 houses were damaged.
