A couple rescued 2 months after snowed in a remote cabin at California

The couple, who had been trapped in a remote cabin in the Northern California, US, since December 6 due to heavy snowfall, was rescued after about 2 months with an air operation organized by the California Highway Patrol teams. Local officials said the stranded couple called the Sierra County Sheriff’s Office for help as their supplies began to run out. It’s been stated that the California Highway Patrol’s Valley Division Air Operations carried out an operation with a helicopter and rescued the couple and their pet dog from the cabin they trapped in. Meanwhile, local officials didn’t share the cabin’s location and the identities of the rescued couple with the public.
