The NATO Defense Ministers meeting began in Brussels. Germany’s Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said the country may need 50,000–60,000 more soldiers to meet NATO’s updated defense goals but expressed concern about meeting this target due to limited training capacity. He emphasized that volunteer service will be critical until infrastructure grows.

Türkiye’s Defense Minister Yaşar Güler also attended the meeting and participated in the traditional group photo with fellow NATO ministers.
