Saz and Kızılkarlar are old settlements located in Aydın, Türkiye, resisting time despite being abandoned since 1955 and 1962, respectively. They attract hikers and picnickers during the olive seasons and have historical structures such as stone houses, a mosque, and stone mills used in olive oil production. The settlements have no electricity or water except for the springs. They are connected by pathways in the olive lands and offer visitors a glimpse of the region’s beauty and history.
