About 60,000 Muslims performed Friday prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque

According to the Department of Islamic Endowments in Jerusalem, about 60,000 Muslim worshipers performed Friday prayer in the Al-Aqsa Mosque located in the Old City of Jerusalem, despite the strict measures imposed by the Israeli police. The Department stated that citizens from Jerusalem, occupied lands and the West Bank came to the Al-Aqsa Mosque and attended the Friday prayer. Also it’s been pointed out that the Israeli police imposed strict military measures at the doors of the Al-Aqsa, obstructed the arrival of many of them, searched them and checked their identity cards.
