The Mona Lisa painting, painted by Leonardo da Vinci in the 16th century and exhibited in the Louvre Museum in Paris, the capital of France, was targeted by activists. Two activists demanding the “right to healthy and sustainable food” threw soup at the historical work of art. The painting was not damaged thanks to the bulletproof glass protection that was installed on it in 2019.

In a televised speech, Khamenei accused the US of being behind Israel’s recent attacks and dismissed President Trump’s call for surrender, saying, “The Iranian nation will not surrender.” He also vowed continued resistance against both imposed war and peace, adding, “The Zionist enemy must be punished and is being punished.”
