The 16-month-old panda named Xiao Qi Ji saw snow for the first time at Smithsonian National Zoo in Washington, USA. Having met with snow, Ji enjoyed the snow by rolling on the snow and playing with other panda at the site. The moments were taken by a security camera in the garden.
The zoo remains closed due to heavy snow in Washington which affects daily life.
At least 3 people were killed and 49 injured in Russian airstrikes targeting the Ukrainian capital Kyiv early in the morning. President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the casualties, stating that all the deceased were members of the State Emergency Service. He warned the number of injuries may rise.
Zelensky reported that more than 400 drones and 40 missiles were launched across Ukraine. In Ternopil, 11 people were injured, while in Lutsk, 5 were wounded in attacks involving 15 drones and 6 missiles. Homes, schools, and government buildings were damaged.
