Kenan Dilek, a minibus driver in Türkiye’s Gümüşhane province, refused the request of African students in his minibus to turn on the car radio, saying that it is not working. Upon the insistence of the students, Dilek said to them, “You can sing if you wish.” Thereupon, the group of five African students began to sing a song that belongs to their country. The students’ singing went viral on social media.

“It was fun for them and for us. They started singing when we were in front of the university and continued as we arrived at the municipality. African students are honest people; they are simply amazing. They also have beautiful voices. Excellent people,” says Dilek.
