The aftershocks that followed the 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred in Myanmar on Friday and were felt in neighboring countries continue to cause panic in Thailand, where 18 people have died and 33 more have been injured.

Thousands of people took to the streets in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, after the tremors, and many buildings were evacuated after a 3.7 magnitude aftershock in Myanmar this morning.

According to the latest report by the Thailand Disaster Unit, 591 households, 66 temples, 92 hospitals, 9 buildings, 58 schools and 27 government buildings were damaged in 18 provinces.
