Türkiye’s Bayraktar AKINCI combat drone has successfully test-fired the domestically developed Winged Guidance Kit 82 (KGK 82), further expanding its advanced operational capabilities. The unmanned aerial vehicle took off from a flight test center in the northwestern district of Çorlu to conduct the precision strike trial. Engineered by defense firm Aselsan, the innovative kit transforms standard 500-pound unguided bombs into highly reliable, long-range smart munitions. Equipped with jam-resistant GPS, the system allows the drone to strike targets with pinpoint accuracy in any weather condition, neutralizing threats without ever entering hostile airspace
