Authorities announced that all survivors stuck were rescued from the cable car cabins at the Tünektepe Cable Car Facility in Antalya, where one man died and 10 others injured after one of the cabins fell to the ground. The survivors, who waited up to 22 hours in the cabins, were taken to the hospitals and were given mental support.
“I was worried about the recent earthquakes. We brought our children so that they would be better mentally, but they got even worse,” said a survivor.
The demand on cable car facilities dramatically decreased in some areas after the incident.
