Developed by STM and ROKETSAN, the ALPAGUT Smart Loitering Munition System has successfully completed a test launch from the AKINCI UCAV. The system, capable of day and night operations, boasts an operational radius of 60 kilometers, over 60 minutes of endurance, and the ability to carry various warheads. It is designed to operate effectively against both mobile and stationary land, sea, and air targets.
Following successful ground tests, ALPAGUT was launched from the AKINCI UCAV in a test off the coast of Sinop. It successfully completed its target acquisition, assessment, and destruction process. The system’s ability to integrate quickly with manned and unmanned land, air, and sea vehicles, along with its precision guidance system, sets it apart. STM and ROKETSAN aim to provide a highly effective solution for modern warfare, especially against mobile and strategic targets.
