Following the collapse of the Bashar Assad regime in Syria, large stockpiles of missiles, bombs, and mines prepared by regime forces were uncovered in Damascus. These weapons, reportedly intended for use against civilians, highlight the regime’s alleged crimes against humanity.
Abu Vaheb, overseeing the seized arsenal, stated, “These mines were used by Assad, Hezbollah, and the PKK against the Syrian people. They even targeted children—mines were buried where kids played, causing deadly explosions.”
The discovery sheds light on the regime’s brutal tactics, including deploying explosives in densely populated areas.
