An explosion occurred in the sewer system in Boston, US. US police announced that 2 manhole fires were reported from the High Street area of Boston. Firefighters and emergency response team were dispatched to the scene. In the video images shared on social media regarding the incident, it’s seen that flames rose from a manhole cover after the explosion in the sewer. With the impact of the explosion, the windows of a shop on the street were broken, and two buildings were evacuated as a precaution. One person injured in the incident was also taken to the hospital. While the street where the incident took place was closed to traffic, drivers and pedestrians were asked to stay away from the area.
