The annual Kaaba washing ceremony took place today in Mecca. Deputy Governor of Mecca Prince Badr bin Sultan, representing King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, attended the event. Along with him, Sheikh Abdulrahman Al Sudais, the Head of the Presidency of the Two Holy Mosques, various officials, and citizens also participated. The ritual involved washing the Kaaba and applying oud and rose oil. This event is traditionally held on the 15th day of Muharram, the first month of the Hijri calendar.
