A new flooding disaster occurred in Afghanistan while Takhar, Baghlan, Ghor, Herat and Badakhshan provinces were trying to heal the wounds of the previous floods from last week. Ghor province police spokesman reported that at least 50 people died in the last 24 hours in the province and that the number is likely to increase. Meanwhile, Ghor Governor Spokesperson stated that there are dozens of people who went missing.
The floods that occurred last week killed 344 people in total.
