Despite the weather getting cooler in many parts across Türkiye, with the beginning of October, the temperature in Antalya is still above 25 degrees. Due to the temperature reaching 30 degrees, the beaches in the popular tourist district continue to attract many locals and foreigners.
“I came here to study, but I’m also enjoying a holiday. We came to the sea because the weather is very hot. The weather and sea here are really nice,” said Yusuf Birsen, a university student.
In Gümüşhane’s Dumanlı Village, 38 nature lovers from GÜDAK took part in a 14-kilometer nature walk along the “Lost Santa Road” through the Santa Ruins. Amid fog, drizzle, bird sounds, and blooming flowers, participants followed stone-paved forest paths past historic churches, fountains, and bridges dating back to the 17th century. Known as “Paradise in the Valley,” the Santa Ruins, with seven neighborhoods of centuries-old architecture, offered a blend of natural beauty and deep-rooted history.
